Hello Mandy, I hope you are well ?
We had the most fabulous time in the delta, the area is just magical and it’s so so green. I’ve never been to the delta where there is a main channel. Honestly so gorgeous. North island is also a lovely camp. In a way very similar to Tawana's layout but Tawana is concrete rooms and not tents.
The food was delish. Best steak I’ve ever had. And the staff were incredible. Camp was actually quite full for this time of year. Which was quite nice, but we had our own vehicle the whole time. Will definitely be visiting again.
There were also cheetah ! The guide in his whole time working at north island has never seen cheetah and the other guide who was a community guy had never seen cheetah in his entire life, cause you supposedly don’t get them in that area.
