2022 Testimonials
Good Morning Mandy (or is it afternoon?) -
Just a quick note to let you know we arrived home safely Monday night. Now R and I are trying to adjust our bodies to a new time etc.
We want to thank you so much for organizing a wonderful ‘trip of a lifetime’! Our memories of close animal encounters, incredible sightseeing and amazing people will remain forever! I was somewhat disappointed that we were unable to visit the local village near Kadizora due to road conditions however we did do an informative walking tour around the village at Bakwena Lodge. You certainly live in a beautiful continent!
Now back to the laundry!! Take care,

Hi Mandy
As promised I am sending you some of our thoughts regarding our Adventures in Africa. But before I start into that we want to thank you for all you did to make this trip close to perfect. It was incredible and we couldn’t have done it without you.
We had thirty three glorious days. Thirty two days of sunshine. Amazing accommodation. Hosts and guides whose passion was obvious. We couldn’t have done it without your help and patience. A great big thank you from Fran and I. We wish you all the best in the future and we can assure you that if we know of anyone interested in going to Africa that you should be on their contact list.

Hi Mandy
You are a super star! The vacation that you so wonderfully organised for us couldn’t have gone smoother and been more exciting and fun. I thought I would give you a heads up on several thoughts so you can file away and use to recommend for other Clients that are looking to do a similar trip.
Lodge 1 Kosi. Magnificent. It took a few hours to get used to the deepest, darkest Africa bit but once we had then all was perfect. Very attentive staff and especially good food. Great activities and more than enough to keep us occupied for our 3 days. And 3 nights and 3 days was enough for us and any longer would have been too much. Especially enjoyable were the sundowners by the pool overlooking Kosimeer where we met all of our fellow forest dwellers and shared derring do adventures. I loved this lodge but would not do back there as it was a little too forest extreme for us and we did all the activities on offer.
Lodge 2 Thonga. Really top of the class. Simply the best and I am so glad we went whole hog and took the best sea view room with its own pool. Sitting in the pool in the midday sun watching the unbelievable whale activity out to sea was real magic. The management (Andre, David and new guy Robert) and all the staff went always out of their way to make each day very special. The kitchen staff were magicians and the activities all worthwhile most especially the forest walk and whale watching boat. We will go back to this place as it is an oasis of calm and peace in an uncertain outside World.
Of course, the biggest lesson of all is to use an agent who knows the country so well, puts you in all the best spots and is always so attentive to needs. Thanks a million Mandy and we will be back in touch to organise another trip in late 2023 or early 2024 to cover Vic Falls, Okavango, Chobe etc.
Very best wishes

We are now safely home and had well rested after our wonderful trip to South Africa. We wanted to thank you both for all your work and organisation, everything worked out easily and we enjoyed the variety of places we stayed in. We got the hang of load shedding eventually and learned to adjust but we do feel for you all and the effect on businesses it must be having.
We returned the car with no problems yesterday and were glad that you had organised for us not to pay the 40 Rand refuelling fee as we didn’t allow enough time to top up fuel en route (too much whale watching in Hermanus!).

Everything went more than smoothly throughout our Zambian experience. We have a new love, Star Beds! L was very reluctant to spend the night with lions and leopards climbing in bed with her, but after the first few minutes we were both enthralled with the concept and spent all nights in the Star Bed and wished for more. Baines Camp catered to her vegan preferences with “special” dishes at virtually every meal. Kudos to the managers Stefan (?)and Zianna (?) and their team. Kafunta and 3 Rivers were also very good with catering to her vegan diet, but Baines was outstanding. All in all, it was a perfect time once again.

We are back safe and sound and full of the wonderful Zambezi air. Both places were fantastic. Nyamatusi accommodation incredible and facilities and staff very disciplined and go extra extra extra mile and are another level. Their guides excellent. They do not have boat safaris. Chikwenya has the most beautiful beautiful location on the Zambezi because of the big island. Accommodation perfect, boat safaris too which are wonderful in that area. Would recommend both. If Nyamatusi was on the Chikwenya concession it would be unsurpassable. They pay a fortune for the Chikwenya concession. I would recommend both without a blink. Food at both places excellent. Thanks for arranging the trip.

Thanks for the trip organization, we enjoyed it very much, kids super enthusiastic for what they saw!
There are small things I would have done slightly different but I understand some choices were due to the fact we booked quite late
Probably Vingerklip should have been changed with something more in Damaraland area as we were planning, in Etosha we should have slept one night in Okakuejo or Halali, and in Chobe we should have been inside the Park (being outside is really limiting what you can do: morning drives lose sense, no night drive, cruise at 2,30 pm because you need to leave the Park in time with 35 degrees and the sun too high in the sky).
The hotels have been good chosen (Vingerklip excluded), Elephant Camp in Vic Falls is super both for location/room quality and level of activities organization.

WOW what a trip. Everything went seamlessly no hitches or glitches and we had Kadizora to ourselves and shared Kwara with just one other couple. It was like a private safari! The managers at Kadizora had dinner with us and we had a great time listening to their stories, and great sightings too.
Kwara was lovely but not quite as rustic as Kadizora but more sightings,, We passed through all airports quickly and seemlessly thanks to all your advice and its a shame more travellers are not going to Botswana. A truly beautiful country.
We cant thank you enough Mandy for all your help and assistance arranging this long awaited and mult-cancelled trip!
I will write a more comprehensive review on your website as well as trip advisor when we return to the UK.
