We returned this morning after a most enjoyable stay in South Africa. Thank you so much for planning our trip so meticulously, paying attention to every possible detail, demonstrating sheer professionalism. We could not have asked for more! Thank you once again and I will be back soon, requesting your help with our next trip.
VC, Dec 14
We arrived home this morning after what can only be described by both of us as the most fabulous holiday we have ever had bar none, it truly was outstanding and all credit plus thanks must go to you. When we use superlatives to describe the trip our only concern is that they fail to do justice to it in fact falling far short, suffice to write that it was so memorable that we doubt very much that we will ever forget it. Let me give you a precis.
Our first camp was very good and we saw a lot of birds plus wild animals, the highlights being several lion cubs and a migration of Cape Buffaloes crossing the road in front of our jeep. At very least a thousand plus crossed as we waited for a gap to appear yet we did not see what had already crossed neither could we see the end of the herd, there must have been many thousands.
The second camp, Ghoha Hills, was a dream, it was straight out of a Hollywood film set and managed by two of the most outstanding people, husband and wife. Had one trawled the world you could not have found two more suited people whose enthusiasm permeated the entire camp thus engendering the same spirit throughout the excellent staff. We could have spent our entire trip there such was the total perfection of the place and we will most definitely return to it.
Kadizora came next and had a hard act to follow. We were very happy at the camp and I got to do my fishing which I greatly enjoyed...Machaba was excellent and the food there was the equal of the finest restaurant on the planet. A very well managed and run camp with first class staff. The highlight was seeing our first Leopard.
Last it was Xani Pan which as we approached by light aircraft made us wonder what awaited us as the surroundings were so different. The staff were once again excellent and our two guides could not have been better. We were shown into our individual lodge and P thought there was a huge plastic spider as a decoration on the mirror, until it moved. She doesn't mind them but I sure do so, in all, we jettisoned five out into the bush and I didn't have to sleep with the light on. The Baines Baobabs are a must see. In all P saw thirty one new birds and best of all two were species not previously recorded in that area and verified by the two guides who were with us who were equally thrilled. On the last morning, as we waited for the departure time, we saw a Spotted Eagle Owl so that was the icing on the cake. P and I were the only passengers on the light aircraft outbound so she sat as co-pilot which further made her day. The Air Botswana plane left ten minutes before schedule and the two cabin crew were very good.
So Mandy, once again our greatest thanks for you could not have done better for us and, for that, we are more than grateful.Any spelling mistakes above can be put down to tiredness !! Our very best wishes and a BIG THANK YOU.

Well, I am sat working at my computer in the pouring rain with my woolly jumper on so I guess that means our holiday is finally over! We had such an amazing time Mandy - thank you so much for everything. We'd love to write a review/ testimonial for your website etc if that would be useful. I can also tell you about Mafia if that would be helpful for future clients? I want to also put a review on trip advisor about your company as loads of people use trip advisor and it would be great if you could get some custom from it.

Indeed, we loved our unforgettable trip in Botswana (Sep.22-Oct.1, “Northern Highlights”). A hyena paid us a surprise visit at dinner table on the first day in Okavango. Our guide Nkosi had a short discussion with her, she left peacefully. We named her “the Letaka hyena”. We saw tons of animals, beautiful and ugly lions, and exciting actions as well. The Savuti lions (male) were soooo impressive. Believe it or not, we saw lions during the mokoro trip. We spent 15 minutes beside the Khwai river bank to observe them, and being observed by them, for sure. The cherries on the cake were a pack of 6 wild dogs in Savuti, which was absolutely out of our expectation.
In addition to this, we’d like to thank our guide Nkosi Sibanda. His knowledge about wild life is outstanding. He understands photographers’ needs - quality and angle of light, to get close up to games, etc. In a word, he knows the difference between seeing a subject and photographing it. As a matter of fact, he was the best photographer among all of us. Our tent team (Pula and other 2 boys) was wonderful and thoughtful. They are diligent doers, not blabla talkers. We couldn’t survive so well without their hard work. Besides, both Nkosi and the tent team helped us out in the first 4 days in the jungle when the airline lost our checked-in baggage. It was Pat who delivered the baggage to our hands in the middle of nowhere. We do thank all of them. Please kindly pass our sincere appreciation to your Letaka contact, as well as Grant and Brent.
Last but not least, there wouldn’t be such a memorable trip without your efficient and professional organization. Please allow us to give you a big thank you. We wish you and your loved ones peace, health, happiness and prosperity in the coming New Year. Let’s keep in touch.

Hope you are doing well. John and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for arranging our camping & Vic Falls trip. We had an amazing time!! Chobe was our favourite. It was truly magical to see such an abundance of wildlife. We were even fortunate enough to see a leopard in a tree! Bushways Safaris even surprised us with a cake, champagne, and a beautiful photo album on our last night in celebration of our honeymoon. It was very special, you must've tipped them off! We were very happy with the service, food & drinks, and of course, our guide & the other helpers. We also loved the Kingdom Hotel at Vic Falls. It was a nice way to wrap up such a memorable trip. Thank you again for all your help, we think you're amazing!!

We really enjoyed this tour from the beginning to the end. Very few people in the lodges most of the time we were alone the more we were was about 6 except at Chobe. (The falls were nice but we got too wet....) we did see the falls very well from the top as we took a (25min) tour by helicopter. The activities were great, people very nice, guides very professional with a very good knowledge of the fauna including birds etc. ..... I improved my knowledge in birds. Sometimes it was sad to leave these people after spending 3 days with them. The pilots were also very professional always on time
Dear Mandy we thank you very much again for all the organisation of this tour and the quality of all the accommodations etc...Etc...We took about 3 000 photos and 2hrs 40 min film….Best regards

Just wanted to say thank you for once again helping us organise a great family holiday! Everything went well and we all had a wonderful time. The wildlife viewing was great and plentiful. The experience from the boat was probably our highlight. It was so peaceful and viewing amazing. The kids loved the Michelangelo in joburg! The hotel and staff could not be more friendly and helpful, would definitely go back.
The two guest houses in joburg and Durban were good, food excellent and convenient spots. Muchenje was also great, food very nice and viewing good but probably better in a drier season as heavy vegetation and had to really look for animals. Had some good lion sightings but long grass. Beautiful outlook though over the river. Stunning views!

Hi Mandy, I just want to thank you for all your efforts in arranging a fantastic holiday for us, we both enjoyed it very much. Everything went very smoothly except for the puncture on landing at Kasane airport, no injuries and made a good picture! I can highly recommend both camps. Thanks again

Thank you very much for organizing trip to Chobe for us. It was great. Even we were told that the wet season is not a best for Chobe, we saw a lot and enjoyed out time. Thanks again. Hope to have more trips with you.

We have returned from the Delta. The trip has been simply magical. We had some bad rain though apparently they haven't seen so much rain like that in a while but we did get some sun the last 2days and got to see Bots in the sun!
The staff and the people there were just amazing! I do have to let you know though, that in spite of the enquiry there was no bath in the honeymoon tent. Other than that they organised everything else amazingly.
I just want to thank you again for all your trouble and assistance and please do let me know if there are any great migration specials
