Thank you very much for everything Janice. The trip went flawlessly. I cannot recommend you highly enough for how well and seamless it all was getting to every place and how nice the accommodations were.

Just a note of appreciation – our trip was extraordinary! We really feel a greater sense of the reality of wild Africa – its animals and environment. It seems that we got closer to the animals on this trip and were fortunate to have many unique experiences. Among those were animal kills, the aftermath of animal kills, watching wild dogs hunt, being chased by an elephant, being stalked by lions, going to the edge at Devil’s Pool, sleeping on the beach at the Luambe Camp under a full moon, sleeping out on the Kalahari pan under a full moon, sleeping in the sky bed, driving ATV’s on the Kalahari pan, and wild dogs trying to get to a leopard up in a tree.

Hi Mandy, we arrived home safely last evening. The safari was magical in so many ways, and when I get caught up, I want to send you all the details and highlights, and a photo to two. Thank you so much. The others had the best experience.

I just wanted to thank you for everything and let you know what an amazing time we had in the Okavango Delta. It exceeded all of our expectations and was worth every penny! As (our bad) luck would have it, this was the first time in 8 years that the Wild Dogs did not den close to Lagoon camp, so we did not get to see them there, but we managed to see them at Mma Dinare so it did not matter!
All the camps were really amazing and each one stands out for different reasons:
Moremi Crossing – we did not get to do a Mokoro here as the floods had not yet filled the minor channels, but the game drives were incredible and we had many water crossings in the 4x4, which was really exciting! We could also visibly see the water levels rising each day and then more and more animals coming as the water levels rose over the 3 days. A really special experience. The highlight in respect of sightings was a resident leopard who gave birth to a little girl near the staff accommodation and we were able to closely observe them at almost each outing. Another highlight was the variety of birdlife at this camp (more so than at the other camps we stayed at). Listening to the birds at night was a great lullaby.
Mma Dinare – Our best sightings were around this camp. The 2 animals on my “never seen before” list was a honey badger and wild dog and both were seen near this camp, which was the highlight of our entire trip. We could also do a mokoro trip here and were blown away by the abundance and variety of birds during this expedition, as well as the knowledge of the poler when it came to bird and animal behaviour.
Lagoon camp – The highlight here was definitely the tracker and guide combo. Their skill and expertise was far superior to the other camps and even though our sightings were equally good at all camps, the ability of the tracker to find exactly what we were still missing from “our list” was unbelievable! The location of this camp is also amazing. We literally had hippos and elephants on our doorstep. They were definitely noisy neighbours, but an experience I would not trade for anything! The boat trip was a lovely experience, especially for us as we really appreciate the birdlife and liked the fact that once the guides realised this, they would look out for rare birds and help us try to photograph them (this was consistent across all 3 camps – the guides definitely made us their favourites when they found out we were into birds 😊)
Also just a thank you for a seamless booking experience and one curated around the things that we enjoy and appreciate. The service was incredible and I have already recommended you to the many people who have requested our trip details after seeing pics!

Thank you very much for arranging our tour to The Okavango Delta. We have had a fantastic tour. All 3 camps were luxurious, very well managed and with a wonderful, happy and entertaining staff.
We had the best sightings at Mma Dinare, among other things we saw gnu’s chasing wild dogs, buffalos chasing lions, lions chasing leopards and 2 hippo fighting and chasing each other in and out of the water.
At Camp Okavango, as expected, we did not see as many animals, but had a more relaxed time with mokoro, boat and walking safaries.
At Camp Moremi we saw lots of elephants, buffaloes etc., also leopard and 2 lionesses with 6 cubs. Due to heavy rain during our last night we had to be picked up by a helicopter - with a danish pilot - who took us to another airstrip for flying to Maun.
Everything worked out perfectly!
Best personal regards
