Then there is the Presidential Villa, arguably one of the most luxurious private residences in the Indian Ocean. It has two en suite bedrooms, a third staff bedroom, indoor and outdoor bathrooms, a sitting room with fireplace, dining area with ‘wine bar’, and huge infinity pool spanning the front of the villa, and enjoys uninterrupted panoramic views. Maximum occupancy of 6.

Breakfast is to order in the restaurant, including a special of the day or your choice of full English. Lunch may be a picnic if you are out enjoying an activity, or informal dining at the Star Bar, or at the Gecko Deck with your feet in the sand. Dinner is always a special event, eaten on the beach by candlelight beneath the stars whenever possible. Azura also offers a variety of special dining options, including secluded beach picnics or romantic candle lit private beach dinners at your villa.
Activities include learning more about the local environment with the Marine Biologist or Community Guide, on the signature Island Hopping Experience. Diving and snorkelling are excellent, and there are migrating whales and dolphins to see, along with the elusive and protected dugong.
On land, towering sand dunes give way to indigenous bush abundant with local flora and fauna, an interesting variety of birdlife, as well as the odd crocodile or two at the lakes. You can enjoy cultural encounters with the island’s local people too.
For pampering, Azura’s spa has 2 double treatment rooms located right on the beach and open to the breezes. The signature treatments are based on local ingredients and traditions, and offer a wonderfully relaxing and pampering experience.
